Résumé : In this review, the authors examine the scientific and regulatory factors that led to development of High-throughput screening (HTS), take a closer look at the assays and techniques used, investigate the limitations and challenges of this innovation and discuss the steps to take ahead to reach a well founded high-throughput risk assessment (HTRA) practice.
